Loaded up and trucking

So, our journey begins in three days, which I can't quite believe. It's come round very fast, and I'm sure the boys will agree too.

On Sunday we will set off to Plymouth, to begin our 18-hour ferry crossing to Santander. I don't think I've actually seen Jake since our last epic cycle journey (is that right??!) and don't often see Steve either, so it will be great to see them again.

It is sad, of course, that one of our original riders, Joe isn't with us on this ride. We will miss you Joe, especially your "slug tent" as Jake calls it!

We are all absolutely overwhelmed with the financial support that everyone has shown us by donating A LOT of money to our chosen charity, Multiple Sclerosis. We haven't even set off yet, and we're already on over £1,400, which is phenomenal! It will keep us going when things get tough.

There' still time to donate, of course, and the page will remain open for a while once the trip is complete too. The address is: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/cyclismoespana and you can follow us on Twitter too @lignedefrance (it's our old page).

I will try to post words and photos as often as I possibly can, with lots of photos for you. I will also try to get some posts from the boys too. Each day I will post a web link which will show you the day's route, so you can see exactly where we are.

Thank you for your support. All that's left to do now, is do it! All the prep is done, our bags are packed, and the training is finished.
