Day 4: Ainsa to Fraga

Good morning everyone!

Well last night was fun, we went out for dinner and drinks, and still managed to all be in bed by 10.30.

The town of Ainsa is very pretty, and there were plenty of restaurants to chose from. We had a three course dinner, beers and two bottles of wine, and it came to 70 euros! Amazing! Here's a few photos of last night of the view from Ainsa and a couple from the restaurant:

So. Today is day 4. And it's the day the boys have been looking forward to - Today is termed "Mountain Escape" and although it's almost 80 miles, it's generally downhill. There are still some sharp climbs though. Here's our route and a link to look it up online: (type on the book, it's Ainsa to Fraga, not Jaca to Fraga)

It still took just over 2.5 hours from the alarms going off until we were ready to leave. It just takes a long time to pack up! Also the boys calculated they've been consuming 12 litres of water a day each...!

Here's some pics from this morning

The boys have decided they can ride unsupported today. Essentially meaning I won't be meeting them for lunch. This gives me the whole day free to chill out and take some pictures. My route today in the car is exactly the same as the boy's, so I think I'll head straight to Fraga and find the campsite. That way I can always go back and suggest somewhere to meet if we need to.
